A Static Model (also known as Strategic Model) is a non-dynamic model with a single, fixed allocation snapshot that does not change overtime.
Follow the steps below to build a Static Model.
Step 1: Navigate to Model Management → Models & Blends, then select + Add Model.
By default, the model type is set to Static. Enter a name for your model, optionally select a benchmark from the dropdown, add a model description, and then click Save.

Step 2: Add Positions to your model.
Once the model is created, you can either add positions manually or import a CSV file if you already have one prepared.
If you select Import CSV, a pop-up will appear prompting you to upload your file, along with a sample file you can use as a reference.

If you choose + Add Positions, click the icon and begin adding securities along with their weights. The total weight for each model must equal 100%.
Select Save to automatically calculate the analytics. A notification will appear once the calculation is complete.
Once the analytics calculation is complete, your Static Model will be fully set up, including the calculated Risk Score.

You can also add additional details such as the Short Name and Description for your model in the second tab, Model Details / Benchmark.

Additionally on the same tab, you can set your Capital Market Assumptions, set Historical Return & Volatility and select a model to use as benchmark.
