Onboarding Prospective Clients
The client onboarding has four steps:
Below are the instructions for:
Step 1: Creating households and investors
Step 2: Risk Tolerance and Client Profiling (including Sending Link)
Step 3: Reviewing Results and Following Up
Personalized Risk Tolerance Test
Financial advisors can plug in your own models to drive the risk tolerance test, so the result maps directly to one of your models.
We recommend you follow step 1 to 5 to get familiar with the workflows. If you are the owner of the RIA firm or the Chief Investment Officer, come back here to follow the instructions for setting up models (link) and model sets (link).
If your firm offers multiple models set, you can specify the right model set at the household level (to add link).
Step 1: Creating Household and Investors
Investors are real entities that are linked to portfolios, whereas as households are shells. The individuals within households are often referred to as household members or investors interchangeably.
To add a household, go to Client Management >> Households >> click on +Add Household
You have the option to add new household member or link existing investor(s) as your household member

Step 2: Risk Tolerance and Client Profiling (including Sending Link)
We recommend clients to start with the Risk Tolerance Plus flow. You can access it from the hamburger menu (three horizontal bars on the top left) and click on Send/Launch Sequence.
Click on Send to send a link to the client to take it at home, and click on Launch to launch the sequence when in meeting with client.

Step 3: Reviewing Results and Following Up
From the Risk Tolerance Test page (from the top left menu), click on "Export to PDF" to generate a PDF report.
You can send the report to the client as a follow up. At the same time, you can ask for the statements of their existing portfolios and schedule a meeting.
To review the result of all questionnaires, go to AccuProfile from the top left menu.
Click on History to see how the client answered the questions. You can also see the history of Risk Tolerance Test.
Step 4: Portfolio Analysis
Client portfolios can be automatically brought into the Andes platform through integration.
You can also enter existing portfolios of prospective clients and run analytics or enter custom proposal portfolios.

Step 5: Creating IPS
You can generate an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) from the Household page.
If a client is not in a household yet, clicking on "Create Household (IPS)" from the top left menu will automatically create a household.

When Prospects Become Clients
When a prospect becomes a client, the clients and their portfolios will come in from the files from the custodians and portfolio management systems (such as Orion and Black Diamond).
Our integration process matches the client's name coming from the feeds with the prospect you manually entered into the system.
